Edi Connor, MS, LMFT (she/her) is a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 12 years of experience working with individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and stressors. Edi previously worked as a Special Education teacher for 30 years.
Edi earned a master’s degree in Counseling and Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato and her Marriage and Family Certification from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Edi holds a master’s degree in Special Education from the University of St. Thomas, and a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma. Edi is an Approved Supervisor with the MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Edi’s clients describe her as engaging, accepting, understanding, direct, a great cheerleader, with a great sense of humor. Edi uses a relational, strengths-based approach to her therapy sessions with clients. Depending on the needs of her clients, Edi chooses from several modalities of treatment, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, with training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and EMDR. Edi sees clients ages 14 and older.
