Dan Connor, MA, LMFT (he/him) is a licensed marriage and family therapist with 18 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Dan received a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate School in 2005.
Dan has received extensive training from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. This training focuses on treating people struggling with trauma from physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. Dan has additional training in EMDR and clinical hypnosis.
Dan believes that most forms of trauma can’t be treated with talk therapy alone because the limbic brain is causing the urges to fight, flight, or freeze; the somatic and deeper mind is necessary to help the healing process. Dan uses sensorimotor therapy, EMDR and clinical hypnosis to engage clients in healing from their trauma.
Dan also provides couples counseling for couples interested in working on having a deeper connection and improving their overall communication with one another.
